Q&A: i want to use pink eye as an excuse to call out of work for 3 days…can the doc fax me a note for work?
I want to call out of work on a friday saturday and sunday because i am going away. I am planning on saying i have pink eye, but since i will be away, i cannot physically goto the doctor. If i call my doctor and tell them i have pink eye and give them the symptoms, can they just send the pharmacy the perscription and fax me a doctors note so i can give it to work when i return? IT IS SO CONTAGIOUS, so can i get away with not showing up to the doctors office? I need this bad so please help…advice from a doc would be really appreciated!!!!!!!!!
